What does it mean when someone attempted to ctb? Is it when someone actually tried killing themselves like, theyre on the act but failed, or is it when som1 chickens one last second, or is it both?

I believe it's when someone went through with the method but yet it went wrong for some reason, in my opinion to count as an attempt the person would actually have to hang themselves or drink the SN rather than backing out from doing that at the last second.
