Life could also be a simulation like in this scene from Rick and Morty, but ultimately I believe we just stop existing since I am an atheist but it is still very mind-blowing to think about.

Lol, hey, I mean, I don't dismiss the possibility. Another is that we are in some fancy, intelligent form of a biological virtual reality video game. Look at the advancements we have made in recent years with technology, and to be specific....virtual reality. It's crazy. Well, where do we go from here? How far will it advance. It is highly likely that the day will come when you can literally go inside the game, and it would be indistinguishable from real life. Well, how do we know that this hasn't already been done before? What if we're in that game right now?
