I've kinda wondered about this, streaming their CTB, either for some courage of an audience or some documentation on a specific method.

Would said thread be deleted? How would you all react? Who would watch? Has anyone ever done this?

I wouldnt watch. I was on a voice only Skype call with someone who ctb my second day here, and that was hard enough. I'm glad she didn't have to go alone and so was she, but I don't wanna make it a habit and I def don't wanna watch

I was just curious because pro choice is a biggie and I could see some helping them through it, advice etc. and if it were deleted, the basis kinda contradicts pro choice by shutting it down. Trigger warnings attached for sure and a link, but I could see it as a "thing"? here or wherever? I've seen quite a few of these videos personally and it CAN help others... somewhat the guinea pig if you will.

Not to sound grotesque, but I would probably watch. I've seen some horrendous shit in the past, so that part wouldn't bother me... just the fact of someone hurting it came to that actual moment live would more likely be harder for me vs the act itself. Plus, some wouldn't feel so alone. No I'm not trying to get this shit started here lol just saying.

I would do it for the people here that are contemplating the same method. That way they know what to expect and it could bring some ease of mind, but it definitely will end up on a gore site and being shared on social media by sick individuals entertainment. That's something I definitely do not want so that is what is withholding me.

Myself couldn't watch a stream because it's to confronting and I would feel really sad for that person and that might cause my SI to kick in.

This is supposed to be a website where you are able to access peer to peer support, either to overcome issues or indeed to end it in a peaceful and dignified way.

I would watch ONLY if that person wants someone to be around at that time. I don't have internal moral objections against that as I know one day it will happen for me. I am not saying it would be easy to watch, just to let the people considering this know - if needed - someone will be there.

That's my thought process as well IF I were to do that. Overall, this wasn't a thread promoting the idea though, I was just curious if the site would get shut down, track our IP's, huge uproar etc. I will say I HATE the comments on some videos in general on those sites, everybody becomes a Billy badass as if they're trying to rally up the Klan or have no problems in their lives... weird people lurk (24/7) on those sites in general, account and all! Probably even a monthly subscription!

I don't understand either why the person who died has to be mocked and joked about by everyone. It's so hateful and makes me sicker than the actual suicide. Apparently there are a lot of very sadistic people who view those sites. In fact it seems to cater to sadists.

I understand what your saying Angel of the Night but i admit I have thought about it because I dont want to be alone when I die. Ive always had a fear of being alone when I die and for me it would feel comforting having someone with me when i CTB. Not talking about live streaming it for evryone to see but maybe one person that I was close to.

I'm concerned about the reasons why someone would watch it. Watching it because you want to see what it's like for you own ctb is one thing but there are a lot of predators and sadistic people out there, people that get off on seeing people die etc. They are people that I don't want to encourage into thinking that their behaviour is okay.

She was a black German Shepherd I had rescued, she was a little older but so damn smart (could turn doorknobs type of thing). One night I was watching TV and noticed her breathing funny and looking at me for something. I was trying to calm her initially but I checked her gums and they were blue. Hauled ass to an emergency vet, spent $800 for them to tell me she's pretty sedated but crying and nothing else to do. So I laid there holding her crying for quite some time after she passed, vet basically kicked me out of there lol didn't wanna let go. Paid some more damn money but have her paw print and a beautiful urn for her at least.

I mean there are good and bad things to it. If it's was done "properly" it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I have also held some hands in the moment of their deaths. Maybe it's just different to me and the loneliness outweighs the "graphic content".
