She was a black German Shepherd I had rescued, she was a little older but so damn smart (could turn doorknobs type of thing). One night I was watching TV and noticed her breathing funny and looking at me for something. I was trying to calm her initially but I checked her gums and they were blue. Hauled ass to an emergency vet, spent $800 for them to tell me she's pretty sedated but crying and nothing else to do. So I laid there holding her crying for quite some time after she passed, vet basically kicked me out of there lol didn't wanna let go. Paid some more damn money but have her paw print and a beautiful urn for her at least.
OMG that is so so sad. Im so sorry for your loss. Its so hard losing a pet, theyre as much a part of your family as the humans are, sometimes more so.She sounded beautiful. Ive never seen a black German Shephard before. We had one growing up and like you say incredibly smart. Our dog was called Rommel. It was his kennel name, he apparently came from very good breeding and that was his given name when we got him. He knew how to judge people. There were some dodgy guys I knew growing up and he took an instant dislike to them. It was quite funny really. My mum loved the fact that our dog hated the guys I knew and she would say to me that Rom was trying to tell me to get rid of them. I did. Dog knows best. It was awfull when he died. He had a fall and he developed this internal problem. He started sweating profusely. Given that dogs dont sweat this was a real problem. Our vet did not not what to do but it just so happened there was a vet surgeon visitng at the time and he was a specialist in internal medicine and had treated dogs with exactly this problem. The treatment worked (Cost thousands of dollars) initially but then it came back and there was nothing more we could do. We made the decision to let him go and get him put to sleep because he was so miserable. Ill never forget him.
So what actually happened to Star, why did she get so sick so suddenly?

I mean there are good and bad things to it. If it's was done "properly" it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I have also held some hands in the moment of their deaths. Maybe it's just different to me and the loneliness outweighs the "graphic content".
if it is done with discretion it would be something very valuable for many here.

That is horribly sad as well! Dogs are VERY smart, some just act like shit heads. I'm sorry you lost a great dog as well... idk how this'll sound but I take those deaths harder than a person usually.

I don't really know the CAUSE but her lung had collapsed and then the other was too. Some said breeds like that are sometimes prone to that.. broad chested dogs overall. I was upset earlier actually telling my fiancé about her because she hasn't seen what she looked like.. can't find any of her anymore somehow? Idk. My current baby now, is just as smart.. probably more so TBH. I've had her for 4.5yrs since she was 8mo old. I used to be kinda mean toward her because a lot of shit was going on and it came down to me drinking with my Glock 21 in my lap, put it to my head and I saw the look in her face and couldn't do it. I feel I owe her (fiancé too). Even with my doings toward her, she is so well behaved and loving, smart as hell.. and most people actually get jealous of her, they don't know her past with me but I'm glad she came out to be the BEST dog I've ever had and is still pretty young. I spend a lot of my money on her because she deserves it and I try to make it up to her every day. She's a Shepherd/Hound mix, according to the shelter she came from. She definitely is not the typical "pound dog" and shocked me, so I feel lucky personally. I used to have a SDIT (service dog in training) and she is literally my service dog, just not "official" in the eyes of ADA. She'll start going with me to my doctors appointments soon because they allow ESC's as long as shots are up to date and has the identifying bandana.

Exactly, I probably should've stated that part tbh so people don't think of some sick twisted shit of me. I guess I'm just that guy that'll do it respectfully and supportively because at that point it's not about me anymore and can put that aside.

No doubt it will give more courage to CTB. Probably why most hangings in Asia especially in India are live streamed.

Theres someone here whos planning on doing just this. I dont think he'd mind me saying who he is, but just in case that was something hes only offering tickets to certain people for, i won't. He'll probably see this and reply, but thats his business, i dont feel authorized to say
I wouldnt watch. I was on a voice only Skype call with someone who ctb my second day here, and that was hard enough. I'm glad she didn't have to go alone and so was she, but I don't wanna make it a habit and I def don't wanna watch
I know the user that falloutcarter13 mentioned and am in contact with him.

He's afraid that if it becomes known who he is he will be banned, so he asked me to write for him. A Swiss as a neutral agency, so to speak.

What he's up to is to better document the use of SN. Nothing else. SN only, without any further aids.

It will not be done in connection with the forum so as not to endanger the forum. But individual users from the forum will be invited to watch the stream.

Wow that sounds like you two have a real story youve shared together. ts no wonder you have such a special relationship with her. Sorry but not sure what ESC means? A Shephard Hound mix, thats an interesting one. Dont think ive ever heard of that combo before. So does she look more like a Shephard or Hound? Hounds have long ears right?

I absolutely understand it when you say that you take the deaths of your dogs harder than a person. When animals of mine have died over the years its been so incredibly hard. My last was my cat Baxter who was a stray that turned up at my door one day and never left. \Baxter was actually a girl but always seemed like more of a boy and thats what i thought she was when she arrived, so i called her boy ever since i had her. About six months before she died she got a cancer on her eye and so had to have her eye removed. I honestly think he looked cuter with just his one eye. I loved the way his face looked like he was just giving me this cheeky wink every time i looked at him. I miss him so much. I would so love to have another dog or cat but its unfair when I plan to CTB but im so lonely without a pet. I hate it.

Bad idea. If people want to see this type of gore, there are plenty of other places for it. From my old man perspective, the desire to live stream everything is a cancer on the minds of younger generations. I fail to see the value in adding such things to this site.

I wouldn't want to live stream it to a large audience, like on YouTube or something, but a Skype call with someone or a group call would be a comfort to me, and someone could report their observations here if they want. But I know it likely won't happen and I'll probably just do a goodbye thread.

I know exit were at one point sending phones out to people so they could stream their experience. the video uploaded to a server somewhere where they couldn't be prosecuted. that was so they could document the effects of SN. so what this person is doing is really good of them(didn't know how to put that correctly).

I think on the phones the data is just streamed but not stored? anyway they had an address on i think and they expected the phones to be found etc and be posted back. well i think what happened was the police just kept them all!!!

I wouldn't mind a little company on ctb day. and help document sn, you would only have to find a way to transmit for a small group without danger of calling the police.

She has like a Shepherd body and tail, a typical hound coat and face with floppy ears

That's true but you also can't do that to yourself by holding out. Can't lie I would've put an eye patch on and made him "Puss in Boots!" :) lol

That's a real mix. Hard to imagine the hound face and ears with Shehard body. I actually dont think I've ever seen a hound in real life, only in photos. I would so luv a pet but In pretty much alone without any family or friends so when I CTB my pet wud have noone and I just couldnt do that despite how much u want that relationship. So I annoy people that have animals instead but patting and cuddling every dog or cat i see. Not quite the same tho :aw:. I never thought of putting a patch on Baxter, he would've looked so damn cute.

don't really care where the video ends up after that
What if it ends up on a disgusting site like bestgore where vile, awful 'people' can mock and taunt you in your last moments?

I would do it, I wanted to do it only for research purposes, not to sell anything or look for something beyond a concise answer to all the questions that there are about the SN method, but since I am me, I doubt that anyone would see it or be interested, so that's why I gave up
love guys
I am interested in it and would consider it with right encouragement

Is that true? I M curious how you came to that conclusion

I've thought about doing it a lot tbh, many reasons why but I guess a big one is to know I definitely left something behind. Even if the original got deleted I know people reupload that type of shit to other sites all the time

To be honest I have thought about it a lot too. I can't give you reasons but it just seems to resonate. The idea there are other humans in the room- so to speak -feels comforting.

I also think it's a choice like choosing your method. Just don't stream to a place where children can see it.

But I wouldn't even know to do it. Though I can guess

If it's by sn and if willing to do it I wouldn't mind watching it as that's my choice on CTB

Yea again another thing about streaming it is I know coming across videos myself really showed me how much damage certain methods would cause to the body and how quick things can work if done right, basically forced me to realise what would actually happen so ik if I still wanted to try some things

Yes it is an eye opener. I have watched a few full suspension hangings and I am always so surprised at how quickly someone is unconscious indicated by how their arms drop lifeless. All within about 5 seconds of pushing off the final step.
