Help What happened to the search function?

The beloved search function seems to have gone crazy :(

When I search for something I only find recent threads or nothing at all. Did older threads get deleted or is something wrong with the search function?

The search function has always been kinda wonky. After we switched to Xenforo it stopped locating threads prior to the update/switch. They're still there though.

Oddly enough it's easier to find them if you do a search using web search engines outside of here.

I got the same problem and opened a ticket.

What I also noticed is that the post history isn't working anymore. This problem has already occurred a few times. I can only find the most recent posts by a member (or none at all). Seems the search function is also affected.

What I do is google and it works!
For instance, I wanted to find the thread/resource "how to hang yourself" so I went to google and typed:

sanctionedsuicide "how to hang yourself"

And taa-daah! I found it!

I guess it's better than the search function over here lol
