Help What happened to the ctb partner thread?

I havent been on this site in a while. Last time I was, there was a thread where people could find someone to ctb with. It doesn't seem to be there anymore. What happened?

I heard stories about people meeting up to ctb but being raped and murdered by their ctb partners instead. So you are more than reasonable for being wary! The idea of getting through it together is just more comforting

The thread hasn't moved. If you don't come here frequently (like at least once a day) then you will not see it in the "new/recent posts" section... and since you are relatively new you don't have access to the search function yet.

Like, if nothing has happened to it - ie moved, deleted, etc - then why is it not available to me to see, read, etc, being that I've been here for several years? The thread is entirely empty.

Did you hide it? Or have you been blocked by moderators from it somehow?

It's still where it has always been for me and filled with posts. Maybe you aren't searching for the right thing?

EDIT: So... weirdly... after I posted that... I was doing my usual round of the forum... and it looks like the Partners thread was completely deleted and restarted sometime today and only has a couple of posts. No indication of what happened as far as I can see... but the old thread seems to be entirely gone and replaced with a brand new one as of this morning.

The timing of that is so odd?? Now my initial question is relevant again, I wonder what happened. Maybe it's simply because there were too many old posts and they wanted it uncluttered?

pretty strange. the partner's thread was normal when i woke up this morning but they totally wiped it clean. i think they nuked the entire thread and made a new one. there's pretty much no discussion of the change besides this thread. maybe it's because it had so many old users' accounts on it.

Yeah... When the OP originally asked yesterday, the original thread was still there... I know because I remember seeing it yesterday... so when @locked*n*loaded posted I was confused and like the dumbass that I am I assumed the thread was still there since it was yesterday... but after I had posted earlier today I saw the thread was nuked and restarted... must have happened in the early afternoon since it apparently was here this morning for you but then gone entirely for a bit and then by the time I had logged in this afternoon it had been replaced by the new thread.

I only see the one thread there, the new one, no archived old one.

Weird. I haven't tried to post in the new one... but I don't recall seeing a similar message to the one you note. I have, however, seen that message before when I have been specifically kicked out of a particular thread... and I don't think anyone notifies you when that happens. You might get a notification if a post you make is removed, but I don't think they tell you if you were kicked out of a thread, you just have to figure it out.

Well, even if that's true about being banned from a particular thread, there is ZERO reason for me to have been banned from the Partner Megathread. I don't post in the thread. I haven't contacted anyone in the thread. I only read the postings. I posted an thread once and that was years ago. And no, I didn't get banned because of that thread, either.

Oh, I wasn't meaning or even implying whether you had or you hadn't. I was just saying I saw that on a thread I was ejected from at one point. Maybe it is a glitch. Since nothing about what happened to the thread was explained, we're all just guessing.

I didn't take it that way. Was only saying in generalities that if I were banned, it wasn't because of anything I had done. It would have have been due to some error from someone running this place.
