Bojack Horseman? The Good Place is another show I highly recommend if you want to feel more comfortable with the afterlife (by the end of the show at least).

If I want to cry, then Angel Beats, A Silent Voice, or Violet Evergarden. Otherwise it's a lot of mindless rewatching of Community, Kim's Convenience, and Brooklyn 99, mostly for background noise

I can't enjoy anything. I am too depressed. I don't have Netflix anyway. I wish I had bought the stock though.

When I'm super depressed, the only thing I can kind of get into is true crime stuff. Comedy lifts my spirits, but honestly, when I'm badly depressed even that does nothing for me, especially when anhedonia is involved. I think true crime stuff works on me because it gets me out of my own head, since I'm so focused on imagining someone else's terror. It doesn't quite work if it's fictional.

Some good, recent, depressing films:

- Calm With Horses (2019)
- Disappearance at Clifton Hill (2019)
- Hope Gap (2019 - set near Beachy Head)
- I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
- Pieces of a Woman (2020)

Yea same, I loved that series
I forgot about Fargo, but that's a great series. Also Legion, there's some mental hospital theme going on there too

I don't know if it's related to Netflix or not (I don't even know what it is), but have you watched Daria? It's the animated series. The protagonist is a bitter, cynical smartass. Imo just as entertaining as BoJack. It's also quite thoughtful, and doesn't have flashing scenes like in lots of modern cartoons.

Used to love that in the '90s! (Alas it's certainly not on UK Netflix, anyway.)
