Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

it certainly feels that way - although at some point i guess i must suddenly get younger and start all over again, because continuing to exist while getting consistently older and older doesn't seem realistic

it does feel at times, like i will never die; the moment i truly want to continue existing is almost certainly the moment it will happen though

yep - so may people tell us that we are just energy and energy cannot die
well of course it cannot die, but it moves along into whatever creature consumes us after death - in a just world, the energy lives, we die
That's not really how the theory of quantum immortality works. It doesn't require pseudoscience like ("everything is energy so nothing can die").

Wanted to ask since I'm curious to know what people think is going to happen after they're gone. If they're scared of going, etc. I'm kinda scared since I think consciousness can't really be extinguished because of law of conservation. Nothing is created nothing is destroyed all that. So after a very long span of time (or a subjective instant) a new consciousness is born without any memories, form or knowledge of the previous one. I know that nothing can happen after the heat death of the universe, but still infinite time means infinite possibilities so I don't know. So I feel that it's just life -> death -> repeat. And nothing is carried from the past so everything is for nothing. What do you guys think?
I truly hope and believe it is nothingness, but years and years of religious upbringing has planted the seed in my mind that there really is that possibility I will go straight to eternal damnation and be in agony forever now. Sometimes this idea makes it difficult in the middle of attempts, because there truly is no way I can know for sure whether I get the freedom of nothingness or I am met with an excruciating punishment. For all I know, maybe everyone was right and I really will get sent to hell for being queer, even if I don't cause my own death. I feel like sending a suicidal person or a queer person to hell is extremely unfair if it's real and how it works, but if it's true I can't do anything about it. I just hope I'm right and it's nothingness.
