Discussion What are your favorite video games?

Mine is Witcher 3, Mad Max, Uncharted 4, and I have a bit of a love/hate with Assassin's Creed Unity.

Yume Nikki, touches on heavy subjects without being explicitly triggering, the soundtrack is awesome, I listen to some of the songs to sleep, and the others are good as well.

One of my favorites was The Last Of Us(I think that was the title). Then Grand Theft Auto, and the old Mario Brothers.

Lately it's been Cyberpunk 2077 and Satisfactory. Both amazing games I've spent hundreds of hours in.

Omg, Stray was such a fun game!! I cried so much at the end, too!

NieR: Automata is my favorite game and work of art of all time, it's such a wonderful and life-changing experience that I could talk about it for hours if I got into it lol
I also really like Mother 3, Shin Megami Tensei II and 4: Apocalypse, DooM 2016, Quake. All are really meaningful to me in one way or another

Also, a fellow Uncharted fan!! U4 was a wonderful closure to the series, I really loved it and was super happy to see what Nate achieved after the end

A lot. I love the Mystery Dungeon series, and have bias towards anything Pokemon and Kirby. Forgotten Land Is literally a master piece of a video game

I like some old titles too, Secret of Mana and the sequel are amazing RPGs you can co-op

everyone talks so highly about Nier. I have the game on Steam, just waiting to finish my ongoing playthrough of Nier Replicant. I haven't touched it in months but... still! I can't wait to get into Automata.... eventually. going to use a mod to turn 2B Into 2P. I'd prefer playing as 2P since I'm black, hehe

ahh... this game. Idk why, but my sister and I had this on our PS3 and I have the fondest memories playing it together, besides our silly arguments lol. never did get the sequel(s?) but I should totally replay the game on an emulator sometime and relive it

I have a growing backlog bc Steam sales but Disco Elysium is the only video game I've played significantly, and I loved it. Though I feel like the downside of having played it first is that it's probably gonna be hard for me to find another game that's as well written.

I have Definitive Edition on Switch, been too lazy to beat it but when I did play I had a lot of fun. all the different characters and playstyles is awesome. I thought Riki was a funny character. I love his skill names; Bitey Bitey

Oh really? That sounds sooo similar to my experience with the game. I played it on my PS2, often with my sister, back in the day. We also had some silly arguments every now and then while playing it haha. I absolutely recommend trying Lego Batman 2. It adds a ton of stuff, like an open world to explore, voice acting, new suits, etc. I've heard a lot of negative stuff about the 3rd Lego Batman game so I haven't touched that one hehe.

Oh, and luckily you don't need an emulator to play them. The games are both on Steam and GOG :)

The Gran Turismo, Yakyza, and Fallout series (although the last two now remind me a lot of my ex), Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 4, Test Drive Unlimited 2, and Detroit: Become Human. I've also spent an ungodly amount of time in RuneScape and I think I've replayed Front Mission 3 more than 10 times, including a few full platinum runs: that one's such an underrated treasure!

One of my earliest memories is running around Kakariko Village in Ocarina of Time at my uncle's house. The Zelda series has been a huge part of my life ever since! Aside from that, I'd say that Abe's Exoddus (and Abe's Oddysee) were influential on me as a child. Never finished them because I was a dumb child, but the art style has always stuck with me!
