Since my last post I played Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Lost records: Bloom & Rage (which I highly recommend) now I'm playing Undertale

I have been playing a lot of Burger Shop 3 (relaxed story mode) as of late to relieve stress along with some puzzles from Sodoku dot com

I can't go back to Papa's Bakeria or I will lose it

I've been playing a buttload of Marvel Rivals! Also trying to finish TOTK on my switch. Tried to beat ganondorf the other day and he embarrassed me I was not prepared at all.

Going back to Atari 2600 games for a bit. It may not be able to make anything outside of arcade-style games (Barring Adventure and a few others) but it excels on making quick, no-frills fun. For example:

• Crackpots (Don't play this if you're arachnophobic)
• Joust (Balloon fight but with ostriches)
• River Raid (Pretty fun shmup which is actually procedurally generated)
• Keystone Kapers (Surprisingly addicting flip-screen "platformer")
• HERO (Actual level based platformer)
• Enduro (Minimalistic OutRun-like racing game)
• Demon Attack (Another fun shmup)
• Robot Tank (Battlezone but better)
• Megamania (YET ANOTHER shmup, but this time kinda like Space Invaders 2.0)
• Solaris (Impressive space combat sim with planet surface sections as well)
• Starmaster (Solaris, but in 1st person instead of 3rd and without planet landing, but with a health system)
• Plaque Attack (Mouth-themed shmup. Watch out for teeth rotting strawberries!)
• Frostbite (Qbert and Frogger combined, but with eskimos and polar bears)

Also, as some of you realized, 80% of that list is Activision games. They really were the kings back then...oh how the mighty have fallen.

for some reason i've gotten really into mobile games lately. you know the shitty ones you see in ads? i used to play mostly nintendo games before though, but i lost motivation to play on console when the latest zelda game came out.

I finished Mafia 2 a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed the game; the setting, the dynamic between Joe and Vito, and how surprisingly funny the game was in places. The ending felt really rushed though. Apparently, a lot had to be cut out due to deadlines.

I started playing Mafia DE afterwards, but it doesn't have the same vibe as Mafia 2. I'm still early in the game, so maybe it'll change. What both games have in common, however, is that they are incredibly buggy. I haven't played games this buggy in a long time. At one point, I had to push Joe halfway through the map to trigger the story. And Mafia DE locks up my PC with a black screen when in full-screen mode.

Apart from that, I occasionally play Elite Dangerous, a game I have a love-hate relationship with.

Currently I'm looking forward to Subnautica 2, the first one was one of the best games I've ever played.

I've been testing a very well made tetris fangame called https://github.com/26F-Studio/Techmino that has one of the most polished single-player campaigns I've ever seen for a tetris game: You have your usual sprints and marathons, but also retro-inspired modes, TGM-inspired modes, versus against a surprisingly good CPU, Tetris-99 style battle royale, a lot of gimmicky modes, and these can be played with modifiers to make your life easier or harder. It also has a LOT of customization overal, 100% recommend.

Perennial Order. Hard as shit, but very fun with a friend. Prepare to die 50+ time for every boss. Beautiful 2d graphics



Also starting to get back into Elder Scrolls Online... there goes my life.

thought about playing Vile Exhumed after seeing one of my favourite youtubers play a bit of it now and explain the story but now I don't think I should after seeing a few minutes of gameplay (I will just stick to watching them play it)

its depressingly realistic/ the developer did a good job of capturing the grimy aesthetic of such online spaces/subcultures
