Discussion What are some things that you enjoy doing?

I can't find myself to enjoy anything. Life seems mundane and boring. I wonder how some people constantly do things they love/ enjoy and essentially live a hedonistic life. Is there anything that yall look forward too and enjoy doing?

Thanks to anhedonia, it is very hard to enjoy anything in my life (hobbies) Although, comfort eating (Food) brings me some sorta pleasure.

There would be a lot of things I would like to enjoy. Yet I can't enjoy them bc of a lack of money.

I do not have a lot of free time but I like to read, play video games, and make origami.

I watch shows where the antagonist mercilessly tortures the protagonist.

I enjoy it. Genuinely.

So what if people look at me with a raised brow? I just love judging those who had life easy and watch them get knocked many pegs for my amusement.

Existence to me is the opposite of enjoyable, I see it as the most cruel, torturous burden to exist and the fact that this existence was imposed is the most terrible tragedy to me. Non-existence is all I see as positive and is the only relief for me, I just wish for no more suffering, I'd never wish to be conscious of anything at all, I find it so deeply undesirable to exist and I'd never wish for any of this no matter what. I always suffer so much from how peaceful death is so cruelly denied for me with the suffering and torture of human existence seen as to force and prolong no matter what, to me existence is enslavement and I suffer simply from existing, to me existing really is just waiting to die.

I really like going on night walks, I have bad social anxiety so I don't get the luxury of having calm walks during the daytime since so many people are out. Also it feels like an escape from reality, since it lacks the sensory stimulation that daytime has, like the quietness, darkness, solitude, and altered perception of time at night. PS the moon was really pretty last night :)

I do live in the suburbs though, I might advise against this if your in a unsafe area.

I just like playing video games for the most part. I like talking with my best friend on call, sometimes it even gives me a slight feeling that life isnt bad, as long as the call doesnt end...sometimes I enjoy drawing or making origami but since its not exactly a mindless-like activity like watching vids or playing games, I usually cant bring myself to do it most of the time..

I like playing games, drinking coffee with milk, eating tasty stuff, and being on my bed with my plushie Jubert. I have other likes, but those probably are not meant for here, hahahahah.

Being disabled without income has prevented me from participating for a while now, but I love making simple things from leather like dice pouches, and tarot pouches, among other things.

It took a lot of time, and focus since I did everything 100% by hand. However I found it relaxing, and gave me something to be proud of. I even had a local comic store selling my
creations on their shelves for a while.

I always enjoyed cuddling with my female dog
she was my best friend for about 15 years
she passed away in 2020
since then I have not had anything to truly enjoy
I miss her

I enjoy playing tennis. I'm pretty good as I'm tall and have long arms! I've not played for a couple of weeks now though. Mainly because I'm finding it hard to leave the house. If do leave the house and play tennis, I feel so low when it ends because I'm then alone again. Driving home alone to be alone. If I don't have the high, the low isn't as painful. Probably the wrong way of thinking. So many couples play tennis together at the club I go to. It must be incredible playing and having fun with your partner and then going home together afterwards.

Outside of my agony I love programming, writing stories, listening to music, dancing, singing and watching series/movies. But all of this becomes meaningless when my life loses track

I like fantasizing about every form of all-out destruction and it makes me giggle.

Can't wait for all living beings to be... liberated from everyday suffering.
