I've noticed that i get extremely upset whenever an account of mine gets banned, specifically on twitter. I have had 3 accounts of mine suspended for whining too much about wanting to cbt and self-harm. i had 539, 296 and 90 followers on each account respectively until they got banned. i have made several friends off twitter and i really enjoy all the attention i get from it, i truly havent gotten such love and care anywhere else in my life. Twitter has also made me conscious of things that make me irrationally angry and sad whenever i see or even think about them, what it is doesnt matter but its not normal that i genuinely start to seethe over something which i have no control over and doesnt even affect me directly in any way. Twitter is actively making my life worse and ive never been this envious and angry until i downloaded twitter. its pretty embarrassing actually, that im so weak-willed.

I don't have any social media other than Sasu.I'm surprised you can talk about this stuff on those other platforms. It's not surprising the account gets banned? They're pretty squeamish and I think it's against the TOS.

SASU was built for this though 😅

Those posts are just a symptom of how you feel. It's alright. Unfortunately, I think it will keep happening on these platforms. You can post here at least.🤗

If you aren't already doing this, on those sites you should make sure you censor every possible word that could trigger a filter or something. Anyway, I'm really sorry that happened to you; those platforms are way too strict on suicide and self harm in my opinion.

i would if i wasnt embarrassed to, it reminds me of the words they use on tiktok. "s3w3rsl1de" "sh" "unalive". i refuse to do this.

Yeah I agree it's really cringey imo, but they use it for a reason. Tik tok is especially harsh in restricting posts with certain words (such as suicide). If you're not censoring anything, I imagine that's a contributing reason for why your accounts are getting removed. In an ideal world, we could freely talk about all this stuff on these platforms without censoring ourselves, but alas, these companies don't like it.

Always hated the word "unalive". Just say dead! It's not that hard and it's less syllables too.

I'm a bit sentimental about my older online accounts to the point where I would keep them up even if I don't want to use them anymore. I like looking at my old Discord messages from when I was like 12 or decade old Youtube comments I made. I would be upset if I lost my Discord just for that reason alone. I recently deleted my Google account but you can export all your Google account data before you pull the plug so it's okay.

I can recommend Reddit for this kind of talk. I've semi-jokingly mentioned suicidal ideation over the course of two years and my account is still up. Of course it's not as lenient as SaSu and you could still get banned from subreddits depending on their mods.

I believe SaSu was a subreddit there once before it got banned, though.

Yeah I'm the same but I've never gotten banned from anywhere before only the odd discord server, I tend to have an identity crisis and make a new account every once and a while.

Though I'm honestly surprised you got banned off of twitter for that. The only time I was ever really active on twitter I was on that side of twitter and the self harm on there is actually insane, not to mention the ed part of it. Twitter is like 1000x worse then sasu, it's baffling ofcom is coming after us and not them.

I have only been attached to a previous online account because I curated a persona that is completely different and more interesting than the original and real person that created it and it had many friends

I deleted it because it made me feel like two different people which sent me into a spiral (was young as well so I was still discovering myself and who I was at the time which also probably had something to do with that)

I relate, I get sad when my favorite users aren't online even though I don't have any friends here. I've become addicted to this website.

I'm sorry that that's been happening to you on Twitter~ :( I have also talked about that on Twitter when I used to use it in the past~ altho, I referred to it as "sewer slide" as that is how I always refer to it~ I no longer use Twitter as it exposed me to things I didn't like and that made me feel worse, and I constantly found myself muting people and phrases~ While I increasingly find myself bothered by people here, I'd still say it's better~
Anyways, I hope you find a home and welcoming community here that won't ban for talking about things like that~

I've pretty much always treated accounts like shells that I can just discard when I'm bothered by people I talk to on them~ it's neat to see them again ig tho~ :) altho, my memory auto-deletes, so it's basically like looking at something I never knew existed each time~

I personally really understand that, I've had some closer mutuals on twitter too and after losing my 1st account.. I felt like losing a part of me, the same happened after I lost my 2nd account, I was lamenting over that for a week, trying to get it back, writing appeals, then I was doing that every month, then every year, until I finally gave up and moved on with my 3rd account; even though I remember all the memories I have made on 2nd account, the fact I cant access it anymore and how I lost lots of people that I knew her makes me sad to this day.. for me accounts are something more, it's precious memories I've made with others, experiences that I lived in games; and somehow I lost so many of these accounts.. that it puts me to shame

Yep that's censorship for ya, I'm not surprised especially on twitter. Usually why people use short words or alternatives to bypass the filter without risk if it getting taken down or shadow banned
