Why is there something rather than nothing?
we don't know why we exist, how consciousness even arises, or what started everything. Science gives us models, like the Big Bang and evolution, but those just push the mystery back a step. Like… why did the Big Bang happen? What was "before" that?
We explain how things behave once they exist, but not why they exist in the first place.

This feeling of being dropped into existence without a manual, without context. We're just here, looking around, asking these enormous questions that echo back with silence or more questions.

Science is powerful, but it's like we're studying the waves without understanding the ocean. We can map the stars, decode DNA, split atoms—but we still have no clue why there's anything to map or decode in the first place. No clue why we are conscious observers of it.

And we dont even know if what we percieve is the whole truth since our perception is limited.

The fact that determinism makes the most sense is both terrifying and calming.

PS: Nice mckenna pfp!
