What can I do to make drowning a less painful experience. I was thinking if I could get wasted on alcohol and go for a dive but I want to if there are any brighter ideas
Hey guys, I have a question about a CTB method that I hope someone could answer. I can get my hands on diflouroethane quite easily in the form of air duster. This rapidly replaces oxygen in the blood and causes unconsciousness. So the plan is as follows: book a hotel room with a tub. Fill the...
Now that i actually have everything planned out and have the n20 i feel sort of at ease, ordering it was much easier then i expected.. Im glad i have a way out for whenever i need it. Not sure when i will use it to die but its just comforting to know its there. This should go seamlessly, i feel...

Thank you for this. I've been looking into diflouroethane deaths and it's definitely an option for me. I'm going to buy a can later this week and try to see if it knocks me out. Then I can proceed to try it in a bathtub. Is there any more info I should know about it?
Some manufacturers add biterants to difluoroethane, that makes it unpleasant to inhale (this is a measure against inhalation abuse). So I'd advise to read the list of components in the can to reduce the risk of buying some overly bitter gas mixture.
It's also important to understand the mechanism of action in order to understand how to use the gas efficiently. Like any simple asphyxiant gas, DFE displaces oxygen from the lungs when inhaled, making low partial pressure of O2 inside the lungs. Then oxygen carried by the bloodstream goes back to the lungs and accumulates in their space. This way the blood loses some part of oxygen, so that hypoxia leading to loss of consciousness may develop. The speed at which the blood loses oxygen depends on the concentration of oxygen in the lungs. Lower concentrations imply higher speed of oxygen loss. Therefore, the most optimal breathing technique that would produce unconsciousness in the shortest period (20 - 40 seconds) is a series of deep exhales (removing maximum O2 from the lungs) and deep inhales of the asphyxiant gas (maximally diluting residual O2 with the gas).
