I know it sounds silly but a lot of my anxiety is quite simply FOMO. Death is always an unknown, but the future is only unknown until you live it.

I want to know what happens in the world after I die, I just don't want to be a part of it anymore.

There will never be a perfect time to die. I think realising that helps. We are all already so embedded in life, so plugged into the machine, that it is scary and awkward to contemplate actually, fully unplugging.

There will always be some instinctive part of me reaching out for hope, searching for new possibilities, wondering how things could have been better and could still be better. But at some point it is already too late and the damage is done.

How can you come to terms with the fact that your loved ones will grieve your passing?
When you choose death not because you want to, but because it is the only way out of your suffering. You yourself understand why you are leaving, but for your loved ones it will always be a tragedy and a mystery, because they do not know what you have been through.
