Well I'm sure that intravenous route would be ideal for humans too.. but that's just not possible unless there is a second, medically trained person involved for ctb (which is very unlikely, lol) That's why we go with oral route for ctb. It's slower onset of action since it's not going directly to the bloodstream, but it's still fairly quick and just as lethal.
