using water w/ table salt to get used to SN routine

In order to minimize SI, I plan to get myself used to the SN protocol by enacting it as many times as needed.

I plan on using water with table salt to replicate the SN. I know that it's nowhere as salty and had a different taste as the actual SN, but the focus is more on getting used to the entire protocol rather than the taste.

However, I am afraid of everything and wimped out of gulping a glass of water w/ salt because I was worried about any health implications. Of course, I'll be dying soon, but I'm not really interested in getting kidney stones or something before then. What effects can I expect from drinking a glass of water with some salt every now and then?

My hygienist recommended I mix a tablespoon of salt in a small glass of water and swish it around my mouth for 30 seconds or so each morning after breakfast. After a few weeks of doing that I definitely found it less salty and unpleasant. I don't think I'd practice drinking salt, though.
