US Gas Nitrogen Diving Mask

Hi all,

I tried to follow the other gas thread, but it get's intertwined with US/Europe replies, and the supplies in Europe don't work in the US and vice versa.

So hopefully by keeping it separate I can get some proper answers this time.

I bought this gas tank:

Welding Supplies, Welding Helmets, Miller Welders from Cyberweld

No I'm thinking to use the diving mask method, but I know absolutely nothing about either gas tanks/regulator or diving equipment.

So if someone has links to both a regulator that would work with this gas tank and a diving mask that would work with that regulator, to buy , that would be great.

Trying to figure this out too. Seems connecting welding/brewing gas tanks to scuba regulators is hard to impossible depending on the standard and locale. I am not a fan of a bag as it seems easy to fail, so looking at mask methods, but its not proving simple.

Also...when I tried to open your link in Tor Browser I get redirected to the National Suicide Hotline...and it's not the first time. Also...the tank you linked is for Argon or CO2 so you won't likely find anyone to fill it with Nitrogen as I understand it, but I am no expert at all. The regulators reportedly differ as well. Argon seems to work as well as Nitrogen and I am considering it depending on what I can source.

My dad used helium that he bought at a party store locally. I never see that suggested but it worked well for him. He had a white bag on his head tied with a "brown string" around his neck and the tube was no longer in the bag when he was found. If I decide this method I was going to use helium, too, as it's easy to get.

He had a white bag on his head tied with a "brown string" around his neck and the tube was no longer in the bag when he was found. If I decide this method I was going to use helium, too, as it's easy to get.

How long ago was that? It seems that because of ctb's, party stores no longer sell pure helium.

Not the first time a link from this site, in Tor Browser, redirected to that hotline page. Happened a few times today in different posts but I cannot recall which. Someone above posted sites might be doing that themselves when referred from here?

So it seems that spoilers don't show up on a Google search, but clicking on a link from this site will still reveal to the seller that it was routed from this site. Then even if someone shares the info in a PM, it's still going to reveal folks are coming to sites from SS.

Why on e-bay?

If you click on the post, I talk about how there's an inert gas provider who is redirecting to a suicide prevention line. eBay has started their own way of manipulating search results. There was at one point on eBay where it suggested people to buy metoclopramide plus SN. That's the cost of thousands of users searching for something. Eventually the algorithm will show you what is commonly bought with this item.

That's why no one talks about it here, that was a while back. I'm not sure when it changed, perhaps a site search will have a thread with the info.

I want to say that it was around 2015 when helium manufacturers started to dilute tanks. I would be cautious of anyone saying any particular dates besides 2015. There have been speculative rumors before 2015 that tanks were being diluted but nothing was proven. You can investigate this yourself if you look up right-to-die activist blog sites.
