i'm still very hurt from all the traumatic events i went through my whole life. they always said time would heal things, well i've been just perpetually sad since and it's only getting worse everyday :(

In my case, time will only create more wounds as I always have the chance to suffer as long as I'm alive. Though, with regards to what you actually mean, I can relate as I should have gotten better from my awful childhood yet I don't think I ever will. I hate at how I never made a single friend during childhood

My life from birth to 14/15 was hell and slowly crawled out of that hell. Even found happiness for a couple of decades or so - despite the ongoing flashbacks, nightmares etc, but coped and lived. But time has not healed. In my late 40s, the first 14/15 years of my life still haunts me - no healing and the poison never left.
