Hi,

I am new to this forum and wanted to know if anyone has tried or looked into this method Thiopental (Pentothal)? This is a very short acting barbituate. My concern is it may act to quickly before one could finish it. Any information, thoughts, or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Barbituates were the OG way to go when it comes to the PPH. Still are, really. But they're so incredibly hard to get now.
Even though its fast acting, it doesn't mean it's safer or harder to overdose on.
If overdosed, it can cause respiratory depression, lower heart rate and blood pressure and suppress brain activity. In serious cases, this can lead to coma, brain damage, or death due to lack of oxygen. I found a couple of articles and medical report suggesting a 20-30 minute death. I might have to dig more into it.

Sounds like a good time to me.

Thank you very much for your replies and help. Let's say someone got their hands on 10 grams of pentothal (thiopental) power and mixed it in a 100ml of water and took it orally. Do you think this would work for a quick and painless experience? Does anyone know of anyone who has been successful or tried this? One cocern I have after doing a lot of reading on this, is that it acts very quickly and I am concerned one could pass out before finishing the solution. Any comments or information is welcome.

When taken orally, the drug (thiopental) is absorbed from the stomach, leading to rapid onset and loss of consciousness. However, because it is rapidly redistributed into fatty tissue, a larger-than-expected dose may be required.
Currently, there is insufficient information to provide reliable guidance for oral use.
