I've been non ironically asked if my emo cuts, on the top of my forearm, are suicide attemps. You know, the one place where... there isnt any kind of artery, and they're visibly not very deep. I'd have a better chance of bleeding out by hitting my nose really bad than those lol.

Ehh it's a valid question though. I mean I don't really cut I've tried once but It hurts too much. I've also tried committing once using a knife to cut my brachial but you really don't get far enough when the pain kicks in. So it just ends up looking like a SH mark.

I have literally more scars than normal skin on my arms, it's... id be comedically incompetent if that was attemps lol. BUt yeah, it usually hurts too much for most people, i kinda just have like, really high pain tolerance in general.

okay that makes them really fucking stupid and idiotic or super condescending tho I am going with the former option as you said about the amount of scars on you that should mean it should be seen as self harm. Really shows non suicidal people don't understand anything.

I myself actually have quite low pain tolerance but still self harm as thats less painful than my mental pain and I either need to clam myself down with it or cause more suffering onto me as a way to punish me.

Psych grad student here and no they don't lmao. Social workers, while noble, are kinda the nurses to a doctor(PhD, PsyD, or even a MA). They are still very necessary though. They get to enter the field faster than actual doctors, and arguably have a harder role. But nonetheless, they are kinda the people who couldn't make it into grad school or a masters program.

They are allowed to be bimbos as long as they are kind and not condescending. In many ways beyond just helping people we do need them since clinicians can be cold and patronizing. Social workers literally make less to tend to help more vulnerable populations because they want to help. But if u ever meet a rude social worker then that person is kinda a failure on all accounts.

But yes, they tend to be the 2.0 students since even a 3.0 will get you into some grad or master programs
