How many of you have actually sought help or at least discussed your issues with a therapist or professional of the sorts? And how did you feel about it?

I've been through a few therapists and been interviewed at a mental hospital before and I can say it's not really something that works for me. I feel like many are just robotic and tend to say the same things to me, to the point where their words have absolutely no effect on my state of mind. Only I have control over what I believe is reality and how it makes me feel, which is sometimes good, other times terrible.

I did. For 2 years straight i followed different kinds of therapy. Some did something, others not so much. The thing that helped me the most was EMDR.
