Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm planning on bringing up my anxiety/breakdowns with obligations, and other thoughts I've been having. I've seen the therapist about 2 times so far, and the results are meh. Didn't make any difference regarding level of depression/sucidiality, but at least I could vent in safe walls, within reason. I'm mildly nervous, but not enough to be frightening. Hopefully it puts some of my thoughts to rest, or gives me clarity. If you have any advice, I'll respond mobile while in the car, with like 30 mins. Hoping for the best.

If the therapist has been meh so far, I personally would ask,

"What methods, treatment modalities and theoretical models do you use that will help me to recover, and to either reach or discover my goals?"

I'd write down the answers and research them when I got home.

If you do ask such a question, I'd be interested to know the response if you wanted to share.

If I had just one advice, it would be to not respond with mobile while you're driving.

Besides that I hope for the best for you too and that your therapist will be helpful.

She uses a humanistic modality, meaning humanistic psychology which is focusing on max potential of the individual, and not just the dysfunction or problem; understanding. Types of therapy used is Cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt), and dialectic behavioral therapy (dbt). Narrative intervention meaning challenging or modifying the client's narrative or opinions or thoughts of oneself or the situation. Mindfulness. From what I've gathered, she seems to do the deconstruction of the person's problem and narrative, e.g the root cause, self-abuse or doubt, and reducing pessimism or negative thinking, putting it in realistic and simplistic ways.

From my experience, she treats people like equals, she asks their views, their opinions. She'll have conversations with you, asks you what wrong, and will take a logical approach to it. We delved into a conversation regarding the virus for example. So far, she's advocated inpatient care, not forced, but asked to consider. Additionally, she's mentioned meditation, not in the ridiculous religious or spiritual way, but just concentrate on your self. You don't have to "clear your mind", deep breaths, or any of that. You do thinking and reflection on your own thoughts, and learn how to separate them from reality. I've seemed to have been more lucky, or just have a better experience with psycho workers then others on this forum, which I recognize. Sorry for the rant!

Thank you for sharing! Very thorough didn't seem like a rant at all.

I've been through most of these kinds of therapies. Seems the therapist's foundation is mostly cognitive, which has its place. But for me it ran its course, it was not trauma-focused (e.g., PTSD. CPTSD, etc.). DBT and mindfulness/awareness did assist me with trauma recovery, though other modalities like EMDR, EFT and TAT were far more effective for me. I found the cognitive to be useful again once the traumas had been healed and/or managed. The traumas were the roots of my anxiety, depression, and every other psychiatric label I ever received except for PTSD, which came at the end instead of the beginning, where it belonged.
