Does anyone have any experience with trying to do this? How hard is it to get approved by an organization like Pegasos if you are young (eg mid-20s) and not physically ill?

I do not have any experience with trying to do this, but from what I have seen and read, it is going to be extremely difficult if you are younger than 50 years old, and do not have a progressive or terminal physical disease.

They only do so many per year and are pretty expensive. Unlike Dignitas or other orgs they do not require a terminal illness to be considered but I would anticipate they prioritize those who do or are older. Also someone using Pegosos must inform their family and if Pegosos has reason to believe the person doesn't they will cancel the date. Just go to their website and review their materials.

I hope you find everything you are looking for and find peace & serenity.
