I was wondering how everyone would feel about joining a mock cult that treats recovering like a AR game. Basically, you're one of the chosen people and you have to recover your energy because the world is draining you of your spiritual essence and that powers war and famine. But as you recover you notice that things in reality start to slowly get better not just locally, but globally.

The game is reality.

Since pain is often experienced individually, recovery that helps someone learn to reduce pain individually may be more useful.

Why is this better then most advice I've received over the course of 7 years of therapy? Jokes aside, I like the idea of gamifying life. I do it sometimes to keep myself motivated and I think I will do it more often.

What if real life is an AR game? And it sucks?

That's why forming connections through a game is so important. Therapy and gaming are only distinguishable by the self-awareness of masking.
You'll lie to a therapist at therapy,
But in a game you're only lie to yourself that this is reality because for a moment it pretty much is.

Honestly, I think it's good advice because most people are pretentious and afraid to call things for what they are.

Selective reality.

If you've ever had to time your breakdowns with your daily schedule I think you'll know what I'm getting at here. Even therapists tend to use games for children to overcome trauma, so why not try it as adults?
What if real life is an AR game? And it sucks?
That's why we need Mama Bear isn't it?
Selective reality and disassociation could very well lead to individual breakthroughs.

Uh I mean... I like turtles.

This sounds like a great way to recover actually. We need someone to back this up, or atleast set up some forum or board to crowdfund it.

I'm thinking of starting a discord for it, but I'm still working on the structure And studying previous AR games to really encourage gameplay
