We keep coming back season after season as the quality declines and eventually the show gets cancelled with no overall resolution. Hahahahahahaha! So that's why we like mini series so much. It mirrors our absurd lives. :hihi::pfff::shy:

Good analogy. The interesting difference is that most tv series, or movies, typically unless the main protagonist dies, the story is frozen in the moment, whereas in real life there is always a beginning and an end. Most people prefer to see a tv series end or movie end in a way that leaves the viewer thinking the story continues somehow.
