How do you say goodbye to your loved one(s) knowing it's the very last time?

You don't say everything. That's the first thing to accept.

There's no perfect monologue. No script that makes it easier for them, or for you. What you can do is make it feel like love without letting it ring like a funeral. You hug them like it's the last time—because it is. You tell them you're proud, or grateful, or glad they were born. You let your words land softly, like you're giving them something to keep.

And if they ask, "Will I see you tomorrow?"
You say, "Yeah. I'll see you when I see you."

Because sometimes love means not leaving them with panic or suspicion. It means letting them remember your goodbye as calm. Gentle. Ordinary.

The extraordinary part comes later—for you.

That's a tough one. Personally, I plan to play it cool. Just like any other goodbye. It's cleaner that way.
