For those struggling with ligature strangulation

First you need to do extensive research on.

1.Partial suspension/short drop hanging

2.Tourniquet method/ligature strangulation

3.The pass out game (helps with overcoming SI) -an idea I got from AJ95

In order to succeed with ligature strangulation you need to be almost severely dehydrated. In my experience being dehydrated makes easier to lose consciousness. Abstain from drinking water for around five days. It may be less or more depending on weather conditions and physical activity. On the fifth day you will begin to feel fatigued, thirsty, your lips will crack and bleed, you will find yourself unable to swallow because your body won't produce any saliva, your eyes may turn red, there will pain on your lower back, your breathing will become more laboured and your heart beat may feel more "pronounced"

At this point place your hand at the top of your neck slightly above your adam's apple. Using your thumb and index finger attempt to choke yourself. You should begin to feel dizzy. If not try slightly higher or lower but always above the adam's apple. Let's name this spot x.

How do you know you have become dehydrated enough- place your hand at point x and choke yourself, do not strain to do so, use little force, if you are able to make yourself dizzy you are dehydrated enough if you can't you are not dehydrated enough.

Once you have played the pass out game (being dehydrated helps with the game as well) and gotten used to the feeling of losing consciousness you can now use ligature strangulation which is my preferred method.

I'm not sure if partial suspension will work the same.

For ligature strangulation you can

A. place you lace at point x. Tie a knot that will not slip. Let the gap between your lace and neck be around three fingers. Place a stick between you neck and lace and turn it clock wise with a lot of force.

OR

B. Using a 300cm lace tie a constrictors knot as shown below. Your lace should be able to tighten the more you pull on both ends and remain in place when you let go without becoming loose. Remove the stick/object and widen the hole where the stick/object was until your head can fit through. Place the lace at point x and pull from both ends as hard as you can. If you want to remove the lace after it has been tightened you should grab one end pull it outside away from your neck and then somehow pull it either left or right around your neck, there isn't a specific way to undo the knot. (you should first practice tightening and loosening the knot while its around your leg before you put it around your neck because loosening it will be difficult)

You can add simple suspension hanging to the method such that when you black out you will slump into the noose. (I have discovered that in option A the stick you use to tighten the ligature comes in the way of the noose since the noose must already be around your neck when you tighten it option B deals with this problem but it's much harder to loosen)

If you decide to back out after you've become dehydrated you may find that the roof of your mouth and throat stings when you try to swallow food. Don't be alarmed simply drink a lot of water until the pain subsides.

Dehydrating oneself isn't necessary at all.
Being dehydrated makes it much much easier to loose consciousness, option A may work without it but option B will not. Many people have complained about not being able to find their "sweet spot", I sincerely think this post will help them as it has helped me, try it for yourself at the very least to prove me wrong
