Have you ever tried promethazine? I have used it as potentiator for narcotics not sure how it will interact with n etc if any but found it very effective to prevent nausea /vomiting more so than zofran

I have lots of promethezine and use it in combination with the opioids I take for pain. It works well for that. I have ulcerative colitis and have had part of my large intestine removed so I get bouts of horrible nausea and if I can take a promethezine before it gets too bad then I can minimize the length of the sickness. But the times I miss and it goes full on, it does not matter if I have one or 10 promethezine. It's not going to work and I'm down for the count a minimum of 45 minutes.
