I plan on using night-night method.

Step 1) Place two socks on both sides of neck.

Step 2) Wrap stretchy cloth around my neck.

Step 3) Cover head with plastic bag.

Step 4) Wrap tape around neck.

I was wondering if I should tape the plastic bags around my neck first?

Then place the socks and cloth last?

Does it matter?

Because once I wrap the cloth I think I remember feeling the effects immediatly.

Would I have enough time to tape the bags over my head very last?

Tape seems like a bad idea to me. In point of fact this method seems like a bad idea. Here's why: Once you have decided that constriction of the carotid arteries is how you want to "go," you must anticipate the possibility that others will try to "rescue" you. In short, I think it is best to find a means of losing consciousness that is followed by a reliable means of ctb--something irreversible, like "long-drop" hanging.

I was paranoid that after my carotoid arteries are blocked and once I pass out, maybe convulsing would cause the cloth to come loose. Taping bags over my head would insure I would die of suffication.
