Sorry i am cross posting this question.
I hope some one could help clear this up for me. It's regarding the dose of Tagamet. Looking at the guide it says "Double dose of what is recommended on the label of the antacid". On the box it say they are 200 mg tablets, so that would be 400 mg, the recommend dose on the box is 200 mg. Looking at other threads it seems people are using 800, which is more then double the dose.
Would it be better to stick with the 400 mg dose or the 800 mg dose?

If it says recommended dose is 200mg then just use double. Then again I can't stress this enough: it doesn't matter. Antiacids aren't necessary. So double, quadruple, whatever

Thank you for the reply. I know it is not needed. Just curious if quadrupling the dose would cause any unseen issues that could cause the process to fail.
