• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I do  This smells of the seminal Nutt et al work. Ultimate public case of politics stomping science. Nutt is the guy behind this classic:

He headed the UK Government's Scientific Council on Drugs -- which was broke apart after this fiasco. Government insisted:
His comments about horse riding being more dangerous than ecstasy are of course a political rather than a scientific point.
Like wtf? This is a scientific fact.

15 years ago my 'Physiology of Brain' professor taught us the course and said quite clearly that public policy had nothing to do with science. She wasn't a pot-head nor a liberal but a rather strict dry (nice) academic.

Nutt is really as good as you can get.... A neuropsychopharmacologist specialising in the research of drugs that affect the brain and conditions of addiction, anxiety, and sleep; chair of Neuropsychopharmacology, Imperial College London; President of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology; president of the British Neuroscience Association; etc.

* There is a heatmap which is even more phenomenal, I will find it! -- done.
