I used to motivate myself to eat by thinking about certain people who would want me to, or doing it at the same time as them, at one point there was even someone who would help pick something for me so I wouldn't get decision paralysis from trying to figure out what to eat, but those people either aren't around or I don't care that much anymore.
I always kinda hated how it feels, especially things like most meats so I tend to avoid them even when I do eat.
Its tiring, I don't want people to get worried because of me not eating as much as I'm supposed to, but I really just can't bring myself to lately.
Its not due to body image issues or anything, I just hate how eating most things feel.

i relate a lot. do you have any safe foods or foods you know you can eat over and over again? i usually just eat ramen or something that i've eaten a hundred times already. it helps to have a lot of the same food in your house so that even if you don't want to cook something you still have food in the fridge/in the drawer. it also helps to have videos on to distract yourself from the taste or texture of the food you're eating. things like soup, noodles, or porridge are easy to eat without having a strong taste. i recommend fruits like strawberries, watermelon, or apples for a light snack if you don't feel hungry enough to eat a full meal.

Kinda yeah, rice is one of those things that's very easy for me to eat without feeling awful. Ramen also normally is for me I've just grown a bit tired of it because of how often I end up having it y'know?
Some crunchy foods are okay, like cereal is another easy one for me but I use milk for my coffee so much so I try not to use it for other things to try to conserve as much as I can lol.
There are some things I like the taste of, I think the struggle for me mainly comes the texture and a lack of motivation/desire to actually bring myself eat.
Ty for the suggestions too.

honestly tired of eating ramen and noodles too lol. it's my usual fallback. rice is a really good safe food and pretty versatile. i like onigiri or tuna and rice. eggs and rice, deviled eggs, or egg sandwiches are also good.

Oooh I remember loving some of those as a kid so I'll definitely keep that in mind.
Like I said I tend to get decision paralysis when trying to decide, so that's actually a lot more helpful than you may realize, thanks.
