Psychiatry Destroyed My Life

I was given so many psych meds in my lifetime it disabled me. I have a bipolar disorder diagnosis. I recently tried some new medications a specialist prescribed which was supposed to help reverse some of the damages but I ended up much worse. I had to cold turkey this medication called Addyi and it gave me complete insomnia. I only got one hour of sleep last night. My brain only responds to benzos because I'm addicted to them. How can I ever get to sleep again? How do I survive this withdrawal? Sleep is my ultimate escape from my painful life. Also, I get terrified sometimes reading about methods and I don't know how to overcome that.

If you're trouble sleeping is caused by the Addyi it should pass as it gets out of your system. Sorry if I misunderstood.

The doctor who prescribed it said I'm so sensitive to meds that it messed with my parasympathetic nervous system and I need to get my vagus nerve under control. I tried running a 5K to tire me but now my heart is pounding more. I have no idea how much longer this withdrawal is going to last. The methods just make me more scared. Life and dying and death are all very scary.
