I had a change in medication over a week ago when I was on the verge of following through with an attempt. It was either a med change or hospitalisation.

My suicidal thoughts don't seem to consume me as much. I'm actually starting to feel that I have a future in life. I've got therapy groups starting in the new year & hope to get back into employment around spring.

I'm thinking of taking a break from this forum, but would like to say I'm glad I found this place to discuss and do some research before coming to my own conclusions about suicide.

Despite all the topics and live threads, I'm glad there is a recovery section with people who have been through a lot worse than I have, who have decided to give life a chance, speaking about their situations.

Having spent Christmas Day in bed, I'm planning to make it my goal to travel the world again during the Christmas break.

Congrats! This is one place where telling someone you hope you never see them again is a positive thing but as already stated, if you ever need support do not hesitate to come back.

I have always wanted to find a partner and do a bit of traveling myself. I am happy just traveling the states. For me it was never about where I go but instead with whom. The right company makes any place seem grand. With that said, I shall be envious of your worldly adventures! Don't forget to take many pictures and make many wonderful memories.

Excellent! It's great when you find a med that works for you!

I wish you nothing but sunshine and rainbows! But when the clouds come (they always do) know that we are here just waiting to help.

Safe and happy travels!
