But before I reply – you make a good point in the first portion of your post – not just modern celebrities either, but older ones. I think of the 27 Club (Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones, Amy Winehouse; I'm sure there are more). Granted, those are mostly drug-induced and accidental. But drug use tends to result from a need to cope, especially with a difficult industry. And I know for sure that Cobain, Winehouse and Morrison had mental and emotional struggles. I don't know enough about Hendrix and Joplin. But surely they experienced a lot of struggles in the industry as minorities. It's full of abuse and trauma as you say. (And corruption!)
I recall the girls of Heart also really struggled emotionally and had intensely difficult periods.

Sendback/T2 "good guy" T-800, not in a million years. He learned the value of human life, he obeyed the orders not to kill and to "not be a Terminator any more," and he is a sweetheart. I love him and I would not ask that of him.
