@Struggling I'm not aware of anyone failing in jumping from the place near me. I guess the higher it is then the more certain, but some posts made it sound like it wasn't possible to ctb from a lower height.

Also different question, what is the cause of death with jumping? Is it painless?

Maybe it's just a geralisation that you will succeed from anywhere that is a certain height.

Not entirely sure re other question would guess it's impact. Not sure about the pain element though I'm sure it is.

it is always in the local paper when someone does, there is always someone threatening to at least once a month and it being closed while they are talked down , along with the usual comments of " they should put barriers up " , not understanding bridge design and the effect a barrier would make on stability
