SN Update

I really have no other reason to post this other than to look back, sort of as a progress log, feel free to read/reply if you'd like to. I was able to obtain distilled water and a 0.01g resolution scale to measure the SN with. Now all I need is three glass conical flasks of 50ml, which should be very easy to obtain, and metoclopramide. The meto may be even harder to obtain than the SN at this point since its prescription-only lol. I intend to book an appointment and use a story that aligns with the symptoms that meto aims to help.

I guess it'd be beneficial to have a glass stirring rod to mix the SN, since I took the precaution of using distilled water to avoid unwanted reactions too. I don't want my SN to react with any metal silverware. Everything except the meto will be effortless to obtain. If I fail at getting the meto, I may just do a 24 hour solid + liquid fast before drinking the SN mixture.

I've seen successful cases without being this strict tbh, I'm only doing it to compensate for the fact that I may not have meto or any other antianemics, and if I manage to get any then it's even better for me.

Just fyi, I think I've seen quetiapine used as an effective anti emetic as well. In my experience, most doctors are happy to write a script for this if you say you have insomnia and it has worked for you in the past.

Meto was incredibly easy for me to obtain through an online pharmacy. Also AEs are not guaranteed to help. There is anecdotal evidence, but there are also failures that utilized them. It won't prevent vomiting. It will likely help with absorption though. It's not a necessary component to CTB so don't be too concerned if you can't get it.

Thats true, I'm hoping the fact that I'm keeping my mixture as pure as I can will give my plan a higher success rate, even if I can't obtain meto.

I wouldn't bother with domestic pharmacies. I tried and they rejected it was just a waste of time. I used a certain online Indian pharmacy (has chemist in the name) that sells medications without needing a prescription.

Funnily enough the picture of the meto on the UK site I tried looked like the brand I got from India without needing a prescription .

I'm not sure about that too. I think fasting for too long could worsen the nausea.

I recommend trying to obtain meto script online over video call with a doctor, usually they are more "let's just get to it". Tell them you have used it years ago in the past and it was the only thing that helped you. Good luck!

Yes this is true especially without electrolytes and depending on how the body is conditioned. Can be worse or better depending.

Wow, so if there's nothing to prevent vomiting, won't we be out of luck? I mean to say, if we vomit the SN, we won't be able to CTB, right?

the less water your SN solution has, the better (more water -> vomiting odds increase)

even if you vomit, part of SN will be absorbed
