Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hey everyone,

I opened my sn bottle about a month ago. Anyone know how long it's still good for? What the average shelf life of it is?

Thanks

It's good for at least a few years. There should be an expiration date somewhere.

An indicator that it is beginning to oxidize is it will start to turn yellow. The discoloration can also suggest that it is converting into nitrate. If the bottle remains unopened it should be good for a number of years as stated above. Considering that it is fairly inexpensive if the bottle has been opened I wouldn't keep it past the point that it starts to discolor.
