Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Both probably have their pros and cons but heres some of my background for reference

I live in an apartment with family
There probably are forests available to hang from but I'm not sure if I can do that without trespassing into someone else's property.
I'm also considering dying in a hotel room or smth.

What do you people in the community think is the best?

Where any action is taken should match your specific needs.
You need to balance function with privacy, security and as little trauma as possible to those you care about.

I'd vote hotel. It seems like a neutral space and your family won't find your body or interrupt you.

How does one hang themselves in a hotel room?
Those are just the options OP suggested. If it were up to me, I'd recommend a tree in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not sure there'd be many options for partial hanging in a hotel room? I don't think the bars in the wardrobes would be strong enough would they?

Haven't heard of this but will look into that, thanks
Research it before you do it. i cant give you proper advice on it, its just a memory of a video of someone doing it off a door handle.

dont take my advice before doing something like this take more time to research

Yeah I will 100% research, my first attempt didn't go so well due to not enough research so will definitely do some extensive research

preference. depends on what you value more. i, for example, wouldn't do it at home. i wouldnt want my family finding me dead. but if you do not care, thats fine too.

I am at the same crossroad. I think I should ctb in the forest, rather than do it home. It is much more stressful though and It takes more planning. But I don't want to spoil our flat with my death body here. Who wants to live in a flat where somebody you love just comitted suicide?
