The song "Her Last Words" by Courtney Parker, really struck a chord in me when I first listened to this song a few years ago.
I still occasionally play it.

Yes!! That's the long I am going to listen when I ctb. It gets me going.

Simon & Garfunkel - A Most Peculiar Man

Simon & Garfunkel the best duo. I personally love Sound Of Silence

Wow - that is beautiful.
Hey

In Offtopic I created a similar thread where people shared songs that are not necessarily sad or depressing but are helpful with making peace with ctb.

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/share-your-unconventional-ctb-songs.78932/

I've decided to make a Spotify playlist. It's not public but everyone who has a link can add it to their library.
If anyone wants a link, pm me or let me know in this thread.

Also, keep sharing your songs! I'll add these to the playlist too.
I would love a link to the playlist please.

I really needed to add this one. If anyone like post-rock, you'll especially love this. If not, well, it's a comfy song all the same.

I damn near fainted the first time I heard this song, and the second time as well. But it's now arguably my favorite song in existence.

It's not about suicide, but it's about death. It's worth a listen, but the TL;DR (TL;DL?) is that a soldier jumps from a plane, his parachute fails, and the results are what you'd expect. The last couple of verses are pretty graphic.

Anyway, that song inspired me to (hopefully) CTB by that exact method, except in my case it wouldn't be an accident. What a fun way to die, and I hope it makes quite the mess for whoever has to clean it up.

I'm not going into the military any time soon, I don't want to fight for the American imperialist dogs, but even if I did, I doubt they'd accept someone who plans on ending their life. I'd probably just have to take up skydiving as a hobby, which won't happen because it's an expensive hobby, and once allowed to do a solo jump, "forget" to open the parachute.

Fuck, who am I kidding? That won't happen. I don't know the cost of one jump, but it's gotta be expensive, and I'm pretty sure this country requires you to have 25 tandem jumps before you do a solo jump. I don't have the money for that. Much easier to just blow my head off.

Anyway, even if jumping out of a plane is just a pipe dream for me, this song does somewhat ease my nervousness whenever CTB comes to mind. I'd probably be laying there in unbearable agony for a minute or two, but after that, no more suffering ever again. It'd be worth it in the end.

I dislike music generally but I do have a few songs I have grown attached to.

howie day - end of our days
I remember first finding this on here, it was the outro music in "The Bridge."

Thank you to whoever shared it a while ago I keep coming back to it.

also

Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water

I remember listening to this on repeat for around a hour before I went to try to jump off a bridge last year (you can probably guess how that went.)
