Getting sectioned is the reason I am going to ctb. I used to be a confident outgoing person until getting sectioned 6 months ago which spiralled me into the worst depression ever. I have lost everything because of those bastards. Anti psychotics have ruined my brain

I spent a month in got out for a small trip home and ran off til it got dismissed in court 6months later

In Ireland our mental health system is a joke tbh.. never got admitted even after my last attempt I even said to them I'll be trying it again as soon as I get out of the ER. They just said that's fine we done all we can. My attempt was a jump in a river at the time well about 7 months ago. All I got from the hospital was a €100 bill lol

Yes in the 10 be ICU of our state's psych hospital. For the most severe of severe cases, who are most at risk. I snuck a razor in my underwear there and cut my neck, 4mm away from the carotid artery. Had to be taken via ambulance to the main hospital, had emergency surgery, 24 hours later they took me back to the same psych ICU.

The first time I got admitted there January 2018 I knew I would commit suicide definitely. Went back there August 2018 and did the throat cut.

I am NEVER GOING BAKC THERE.

No, I went through all the meds before I ever truly became hopeless and became suicidal, so I already knew how woefully ineffective the treatments were. I just stayed in my dark apartment alone and went the full isolation route.

No, never been to one not even when my sister was institutionized but almost did when I contacted crisis textline one night and told them I have methods of planning CTB and suicidal thoughts. I ended up forcefully ending the conversation because I didnt feel anything was helping. Because of it, they tracked my phone number to my house. My mom told me that 6 police officers were at my doorstep in a matter of minutes ready to take me to an institution but luckily I was at my dorm so I wasn't there to see it. My word of advice: never tell them that but if you do, don't end the conversation abruptly, otherwise they will call the police on you.

So ridiculous, I've read so many stories exactly like this especially from injected antipsychotics. The thing is, it can take them months or even years to completely clear from your system, so while I know how dead you feel there could be some hope. I was not sectioned or forced, but I was lied to about an antipsychotic being a sleep med, took it and got brain damage from it.

Been there twice in my life. First was pleasant because I actually wanted to kill myself and the people helped. Second time just made me feel worse and wanted to die even more.

I still miss some of those folk from my first visit.
