I have schizophrenia, it's the most stigmatized and one of the hardest mental illnesses to deal with but I take medication and I don't experience hallucinations most the time , try to convince your mom to take meds , if she smokes or drinks you should to convince her to stop because it does interfere with treatment and make hallucinations worse

She has medications and as far as I know she's taking them (I half believe her) but they don't fucking work and she refuses to try anything different or listen to ANYONE.
