It is just amazing... I read alot about them on Exits page, and they are going to release 3D printer models so everyone can make them from what it seems. I really like what Exit is doing all around, they are wonderful advocates and very nice also.

Has anyone else read about these yet? What do you think?

For Sarco you need an industrial 3D printer, right? Where the hell do we get it and how much will it all cost?

It would be better if Exit would find (or organize somehow) stable, reliable, cheap sources of N - unfortunately A just can't do it forever.

Sarco is good for bringing this topic of self-chosen end of life to public attention. Also good marketing campaign for Nitschkes organization. For the nearby future it will not change how people will suicide, but it might change a little bit how people view these things. Some videos about the sarco hit +100.000 views. Not enough I think

I really wish that Exit would at least already release the exact 3D-print plans.. Cause if we had those we could go to a 3-d-print shop… it would be a bit expensive but they said that it could be around 7000 $. am sure it will help so many People in the future, would love to be one of them but am tired of waiting… next year they will firstly use it in siwtzerland, but they still havent said when they will finally publish the plans.

I'm more interested in the debreather as I heard it will cost 300$ and another independent company will be releasing it.

Have they said when they will make the sarco available in Switzerland?

I have a bad memory but I believe they will have one setup at their location, as well as offer the 3D print model free. You would have to pay to have it built though, and I think people would refuse to make them.

I think they said it will definitely be available in Siwtzerland from the beginning of next year.. but there already is some Kind of "waiting line".
The final Goal will be to relase the 3D-Plans online, so everybody can have their own printed Version of the Sarco (considering the fact that more and more 3D-Shops will Show up in the future and that These engineers will also be more open to construct such a machine, since hopefully Sarco will further add to make self-chosen death a bit more acceptable for Society..
I personally find it great that the Sarco is on Exhibition in Venice ("where art meets death), especially since Italy is such a catholic Country and also People Need to realize that death is unavoidable for each of one of us and should not be such a taboo Topic.
I am also interested in the debreather, however i would Always prefer the Sarco.
I really doubt it that i can wait too much longer though.

Wouldn't this be subject to the same regulations as other things though, meaning that the 3D shops won't print them, as they would be help accountable for assisting suicide?

I havent heard of that one can you post a link so I can check it out? :)

In the beginning i thought they would make the Sarcos available to buy them or that certain People can go to Switzerland for assisted suicide . At least it will be in Switzerland where they will first "test" it with a human being and Maybe if everything went alright they will shortly afterwards publish the online plans? i am realy not sure and to be honest it Looks like they are not fully sure of the exact development yet either.
There will be some Kind of online test where you have to proof that you are of Sound mind and know what you are doing (i think it will include everybody, not only People who are suffering from physical diseases). when that test is succesful, you will be provided with a Code. After your sarco is printed you can literally set it up everywhere ..for me it is like a dreamy Fantasy to have such a machine , which is designed like a Beautiful Vehicle where all you Need to do is to push a button… i just wish it already was reality …

Yeah I wish I could go that way. But I can't wait another year or longer.
Thanks for sharing what you know about it.
