There is also a research paper saying same efficacy as Prozac.

I just started taking it yesterday. I am combining it with Lithium Orotate.

I definitely feel less terrible this AM. I am towards the end of rTMS which seems to help intermittently, so I'm not sure if it's the saffron or rTMS. I'm a little agitated this AM but not exhausted like I have been for the past week: definitely more energy. I am going to try saffron for the next month or so before I try another med.

Saffron apparently helps with serotonin.

Of course it's something expensive that apparently helps with depression...
Seems like a scam to me but if it's truly working for you then I'm glad. I hope you feel better.

Coincidentally, I'm currently taking saffron, but I don't notice anything. Prozac didn't help me either, it only harmed me.

@Nymph It has a history of use, and many medicines come from plants. https://www.fxmedicine.com.au/blog-post/traditional-uses-saffron

Nothing is really helping me that much though. Today I have saffron and St John's Wort (not recommended) and MJ and have managed to get out of bed. But I still really want to die.

@http-410 I'm sorry to hear that. I am also not finding anything that works. How long have you tried the saffron for? I am scared of medication, but I am so ill I have to try it again. Have you seen the tcds machines. I spend all my money on a desperate quest to get better, while just really wanting this torture over.

@LittleJem

I hope you find something that helps.

I've been taking it for about two weeks I guess. My doctor said it would take that long to notice something. Admittedly, I paused for a few days but started again. I haven't heard of tDCS yet, only TMS, which is unfortunately not covered by my insurance.

I think saffron is like meds, worth trying for 4-6 weeks. I'll post the link for tcds in a bit. It has some efficacy research

Are those the same guys who sell turmeric pills saying they cure arthritis?

Hey, I am still feeling better than before. Not perfect, but better. I had my last rTMS today, but I'm pretty sure the saffron is helping.

I know people peddle a lot of shit, and you'll see from my posts how much I've tried to try so many things.

I'll let you know if it keeps helping
