Are there any risk involved with practicing? Compressing the juglar causes severe headaches..can it cause brain damage?

Don't think so. Takes about 3 minutes of uncosiouissness for brain damage to occurs. I practiced partial alot and I had 2 attempts aswell. Had a head MRI in psych ward couple weeks ago. All good.
