(Please Ignore my frugal coat rack setup, lol)
I have decided on wedging a 3/8" nylon rope into my bedroom door, tested the durability and practicality of the setup and managed to get a dizzy, euphoric sensation (no exploding head feeling this time!) after nearly 30 seconds of kneeling down and applying pressure on the right side of my neck, the rope positioned below my adam's apple. I backed out for now as my intention was to practice in the meantime. I positioned the knot on the back of my neck, a little off-centred and leaned towards the left side. I feel very happy with the results so far and feel quite confident in this setup!
