Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm going to ctb via SN out in the open during the night, which has raised some questions of things that could interfere... Among those, I am curious if the chilly weather of the night could interfere in any way (i.e. waking up after losing consciousness due to cold). Should I bring a coat ? sorry to ask sorry for dumb question

Couldn't hurt. I don't know a ton about SN but if its just a coat, it doesn't seem like a crazy hassle.

Metabolism definitely slows in colder weather. That's one of the reasons a lot of people, gain weight in the Winter....that and they eat more food because it takes more calories for the body to maintain warmth. Whether colder temps will affect SN absorption, I don't know. Interesting question, though.

Being in a cold weather might slow SN diffusion in tissue. If you want rapid diffusion it's better to do it in a warm place.

I learned that after reading the story of a woman who attempted by OD in a forest. But because it was so cold, her organs were protected. She was found before the drug could reach all tissues. Only once she reached the hospital her organs started failing because it was warmer inside. Cold weather causes vasoconstriction. Warm weather will cause vasodilatation and better diffusion

Metabolism actually increases in the cold as the body burbs calories to stay warn. People get fat in the winter because there are several holidays where people overeat all right in a row.
