I've been researching the CTB method for a long time, and it seems to me that using sodium nitrite is one of the most suitable approaches. I have some questions about the proper application
of this method

Have I understood everything correctly:

1. I buy SN with a purity of over 98%

(Question: if the percentage is slightly lower, will this affect the result, or will it still work?


2. I use an antiemetic like Reglan. I take the necessary dose an hour or two before using SN.

3. I prepare two glasses of SN, each containing 25 mg per 50 ml of water, approximately. I simply dissolve the substance in water.

I drink the first one, and keep the second one in case I vomit.

4. I wait until I lose consciousness and find peace. Am I correct in understanding that death can occur anywhere from half an hour to several hours? Is that right?


If I happen to be saved, will I be able to fully recover my health after a failed attempt if something goes wrong?

You want 95% pure or above.

Make sure it is 25 GRAMS not milligrams.

4. I wait until I lose consciousness and find peace. Am I correct in understanding that death can occur anywhere from half an hour to several hours? Is that right?

In most cases, death occurs within 40 minutes. Taking longer than an hour is rare, but it can happen. Make sure you leave enough time to be alone for several hours just in case.

If I happen to be saved, will I be able to fully recover my health after a failed attempt if something goes wrong?

I have only heard one case of someone having residual kidney damage after an attempt with SN. So far as I know, everyone else has made a full recovery. However, every method always carries the risk of some sort of permanent damage.

Yes it's affect, but if your SN is above 95% it's fine, but you need to make sure that it's really pure, some sources offers bad quality SN and if your SN is of bad quality you can end up not dying and suffers more.

READ THE ANSWER FOR YOUR QUESTION ABOUT CLOZAPINE THAT I ANSWERED.

3x10mg 1 hour before taking the SN. it's good testing one pill to see if you're gonna have side-effects from Reglan, if you're close to CTB then do it at least one week before.

PPH suggests that if you vomit you should induce more vomit and CTB on another day, but some people still takes another drink, i don't really know what it's the best here, you gotta search by yourself.

It really depends on your health, age, others medicines like antacids and painkillers will increase time to lose consciousness and increase the chances of vomiting but will decrease pain, in my ctb i will take only the antiemetic, i prefer to endure the pain, have lower chances of vomiting and lose consciousness faster. the max i see of a people losing consciousness is 40 minutes, but she takes other medicines that increase the time to lose it.

To this day i never seen someone who end up with permanent damage.

Clozapine interacts with metoclopramide. Clozapine and metoclopramide both increase antidopaminergic effects, including extrapyramidal symptoms and neuroleptic malignant syndrome. I think it's better for you to use domperidone (search up for the name in your country) instead of metoclopramide (Reglan), the recommended dose of Domperidone is 2x10mg 30 minutes before SN.

Too much would effect the water fast, but too little and your body might struggle to metabolise these pills. or at least dissolve them. It might do, I'm really not sure.

I can usually swallow tablets that aren't too large, with just a tiny bit of water or even just wetting the tablet. That's getting it down the throat, but what about it actually metabolising in x amount of time? I guess if the last thing you take before the SN is the AE, you have about 45mins for excess water to leave your stomach. Its probably enough time assuming you didn't gulp huge amounts. It takes about 5-20 mins for water to leave if its on an empty stomach. (if AI is correct)

i wanna know that too, doctors recomend taking medicines with a full glass of water for faster and secure absorption of the medicine, but i don't know if this affects SN.

Per the PPH, they tell you to take meto after you are supposed to fast liquid, so i assume they expect you to take little sip of water ? And i mean after SN they recommend to drink crushed benzos+water...

PPH is kind of confusing sometimes, they don't explain why something is the way it is, it's really hard to truly believe 100% of what they say without explanation, farewellwiki seems better and explain things the best, but still, some infos are kinda confusing.

That's fair but Meto is essential so i assume you are supposed to sip a lil bit of water at least, i guess we are all trying to find "smoothest/best" protocol...

yes antiemetic is a essential. but pills with little water as possible can make the pill not getting desintegrate in time, at least is what AI says. i don't know if you read it my message above but here it is.

Okay I will use domperidone.

So, I take domperidone 30 minutes beforehand. Then I measure out the required amount based on the dosage chart for my weight. This is where I run into trouble, since I don't have a scale and I'm not sure I'll be able to get one.

The seller said the purity is 99%.

So it all comes down to taking the anti-nausea medication correctly and dissolving the right amount of SN in the right amount of water. Thank you

PPH suggests that if you vomit you should induce more vomit and CTB on another day, but some people still takes another drink, i don't really know what it's the best here, you gotta search by yourself.

This is what some of us were questioning. I was reading about domperidone, and apparently it doesn't technically require water to be metabolised effectively in the liver. And you can also get ones that dissolve on your tongue, that are specifically designed for use without water. Depends on the brand in your country I guess. So, I would say it's just a case of using as little water as possible just to get the tablets down your throat and then the stomach/saliva etc will take care of the rest. I don't know what the case would be with meto.

farewellwiki.org recommends taking 2x10mg 30 minutes before SN and PPH from January 2025 recommends taking 2x10mg 40 minutes before SN. I will follow the farewellwiki recomendation as they seem more detalied on why.

There was a flaw in Vizzy's calculations, as aquarium test kits measure NO2- ions rather than NaNO2 as a whole. If the test is performed the way he did it (using 500 ml cups), you would need to either use 3.75 grams of SN or transfer 1.5 ml instead of 1 ml

Just close the SN bag, the solution in the glass is safe unless someone drinks it. Maybe the solution can be mistaken as water? I don't know, better leave a warning saying to properly discard he SN and the solution.

Is the 200ml of water your own estimate of what is required? Or did you see this advised somewhere? I had read that gastric fluid is enough to dissolve these tablets, water is only required to make sure it doesn't get stuck in the throat.

Well, doctors always seems to recommend using 200ml to take pills, and water get outs from your stomach fast, it seems better to use it to take the pills 100ml for each one.

You could increase from say 30 to 45mins, as peak concentrations start at 30-60mins and last 4 hours before gradually diminishing. There were people on here who also used 3 tablets and succeeded, so I guess that's an option too.

In a empty stomach i think it will reach peak faster. pph recommends 40 minutes and farewellwiki recommends 30 minutes, let's go with 35 minutes then .

There were people on here who also used 3 tablets and succeeded, so I guess that's an option too.

I don't know if it's better to use 3 or 2. but pph and farewellwiki only recommends 2 tablets. don't know why.
