This may sound stupid but is it possible to hang yourself from a ceiling fan? I'm assuming not but thought I'd ask as I'm not sure.

On gore sites you find a lot of videos from people who hanged themselves from a ceiling fan. As long has it holds your weight it's fine.

You should test your anchor first. Grab it with your hands and swing around. That's the best test.

I suppose it would depend on how it's fitted and if it could take the weight I'd be careful using one just in case it gives out and you end up with a failed CTB attempt that leaves you injured or worse off, I'm just a random but for what it is worth i don't think it's a stupid question.
